The municipality
Steinkirchen has adopted a flag by the vote of the
municipal council of November 2nd 1982. The flag shows
three stripes of the colours Green-White-Red; it has
to be used with the arms on it. The Government
of Upper Bavaria approved the adoption of the flag on
February 8th 1983. In actual use are hanging flags in the proportions 10:3; the arms cover 50% of the flag width. The flag is used during municipal festivities (e.g. Holzlandvolksfest) and church holidays. |
