The municipality
Walpertskirche has adopted a flag by the vote of the
municipal council of February 11th 1981. The flag shows
three stripes of the colours White-Blue-White; it shall
be used with the arms on it. The Government of
Upper Bavaria approved the adoption of the flag on August
13th 1981. In actual use are
hanging flags with and without arms. The flags have a
size of 360 x 120 cm (proportions 3:1). The colours are
HKS 46 K (blue) und HKS 13 K (red). The arms cover 56% of
the flag width. The flags have been manufactured by
Fahnen Kössinger in Schierling.
The flags are used during municipal
festivities (e.g. the 1250th anniversary of the village
in 1999) and church holidays (e.g. Corpus Christi Day).
