The municipality
Lengdorf has adopted a flag by the vote of the municipal
council of September 24th 1981. The flag shows three
stripes of the colours White-Red-Yellow; it shall
be used with the arms on it. The Government of Upper
Bavaria approved the adoption of the flag on December 9th
1981. In actual use are only hanging flags with arms; they have a size of 500 x 150 cm (proportions 10:3), the arms cover 85% of the flag width. They have been manufactured by Fahnen Kössinger in Schierling. This informed me in a letter of August 30th 1999, that also flags of different proportions have been delivered; these have a size of 600 x 150 cm, the arms cover 5/9 of the flag width. The flag is used on holidays and during municipal festivities. |
