According to
information from the Bavarian Main Public Record Office
(letter of February 18th 1999) the municipality Forstern
does not use an official municipal flag. Inofficially,
however, a flag is used since about 1983; it shows two
stripes of Green-Yellow with the arms. The flags in actual use are flapping flags and hanging flags in the proportions 8:3; the arms cover 2/3 of the flag width. They are used on state and church holidays (e.g. Corpus Christi Day). |
